Who I am ?

Melanie lous

I am an osteopath and the founder of Triskelion Concussion Care.

As an osteopath I enjoy the challenge and rewards of working with patient's complex conditions. I have a particular interest in cranial osteopathy, which is a gentle technique used to achieve substantial changes without further stressing the body.

My journey in the concussion field started in 2020 when I began treating patients with concussion. Reflecting on that time, I realised that my skills were very beneficial to my patients but I lacked understanding of concussion. I have since done an extensive post graduate course which gives me a professional and rounded approach to help all patients suffering from concussion symptoms. This led me to open a dedicated service in Christchurch with Triskelion Concussion care.

Originally from France, I graduated with a Master of Osteopathy in London before moving to New Zealand in 2012. I am dedicated to learning new skills and new approaches to help my patients. During my spare time I like to keep active doing waka ama , cooking and I also try my hand at woodworking.

I am a member of the Osteopathic council of New Zealand (OCNZ) and an accredited ACC treatment provider.
