Melanie lous

I am an osteopath and the founder of Triskelion Concussion Care and Osteopathy. I work with patients experiencing complex conditions and enjoy the clinical challenge of identifying the most effective approach for each individual. My Goal is to help people return to the activities that matter most to them. I specialise in cranial osteopathy, and also use visceral and structural technique to support meaningfull, whole body change.

My interest in concussion care started in 2020 when I began treating patients with concussion. Reflecting on that time, I recognised that my osteopathic skills were valuable but I needed a deeper understanding of concussion. Since then, I have completed extensive post graduate training, allowing me to provide a comprehensive evidence-informed approach for people recovering from concussion. This training led to the development of Triskelion Concussion care as a dedicated service in Christchurch.

Originally from France, I completed a Master of Osteopathy in London before moving to New Zealand in 2012. I am committed to ongoing professional development and continually expending my clinical skills. Outside of practice I like to keep active doing waka ama and cycling, cooking and I also try my hand at woodworking.

I am a member of the Osteopathic Council of New Zealand (OCNZ), Osteopath New Zealand and an accredited ACC treatment provider.
